A fiddly job but only takes 10 minutes
Open the door and remove the inner plug
Then to give a little more room remove outer plug housing
In this hole about an inch in and to the outer edge of the door there is a slider plate with a flat edge facing the hole you will need either a screwdriver with a bent end or (as I did) use a long allen key wrench as a hook. You can find it by using a torch to see into the door.
First locate the slider and push it away from you this will unlock the outer handle surround, NB The surround hooks into the bottom of the recess (Yellow arrows) and is locked at the top by the slider (green Arrows) so carefully pull it away from the door top first once unlocked and during removal.
Once removed just pull the old gasket off. As you can see this one is totally rotted.
Old one and new one
Clip on the new one (it has locating pins)
Give the door a clean behind the handle
Put the handle surround and new gasket back on ensuring you hook the two lower tabs in first then hold the top of the surround in place and using the Allen Key wrench pull the locking slider back towards you to lock everything back on. Then pop the plug surround and plug back into the door.
Sorry I couldn't get any pictures of the slider as the hole in the door is too small. Hope this is helpful.
