Do you mean the bolts ( no 17 ) below??

BMW part number is 07119902955
Hex bolt
M8X45-8.8-ZNS3.

It appears they are used on all models.

They are probably not that expensive from a BMW dealer but you could try putting the part number on and see what comes up.

EDIT....oh you mean the bracket itself.......... well done Lee

Go onto RealOem.com and select BMW and then your car. Z3’s are found in the classic section of BMW

Me being Me, I would've drilled it and fed a shallow headed bolt through the bracket.

Like the idea of drilling and bolt but there was more rust than metal so they have seen there best

A new bracket is best for sure Danny, the repair is really a "keep you going" fix. Something modern mechanics (technicians) probably wouldn't even consider.

One of my rear drop-link brackets is just having the Deox treatment. You'd be surprised how well it will come out.

Slightly off topic but double you think you could buy a rectangular inflatable swimming pool take all the panels off a zed and interior out blow up swimming pool fill it with Deox solution and leave it in it for 24 hrs :popcorn:.

It can only work on exposed ferrous metal.

This was nasty, really crusty before it went in the Deox. Came out of the potion tonight. I'd left it for a few days as I was away.
