Just starting to find my way around the E89 - obviously it's a lot more advanced than the Z3 I have. Looking through the service required menu some of the dates / intervals seem a long way off - is this normal? Cheers

Doesn't stop me having oil and filter change every 12 months
Thanks Paul and like you I will be taking it to my independent for an annual check and service when the MOT is due - tend to maintain them all like that unless they need to be booked in for an adhoc visit

It certainly looks like you got a 100% bargain there

All looks good. Distance estimates tend to be high on oil etc. The time based alert will usually come up first. Looks like new brake pads fitted recently at the front.

The e89 service periods are vast, when I got mine it had 17k to go on the service, I changed the oil and it was black as a diesels, did a flush and change and at the next service, 5k, the oil was dirtier than new but still clear. I do mine 5k/12mths same as the Z3. Oil & filters are cheap, engines are not ;)
