Ejector seat maker is to be prosecuted over death of Red Arrows pilot who was thrown out of his jet while it was still on the runway of the group's base

• Flight Lieutenant killed in 2011 when his ejector seat activated on runway

• It was later claimed that the military were not told of a flaw in the seat

• The Health and Safety Executive announced today they will mount a case

Rightly so but it's a shame that Martin Baker allowed this to happen especially as these seats and variants of have save 100's of lives over the years.
