Electric Hood Maintenance

Hi All

Any one got some good tips for keeping my electric hood in good working condition ? It works perfectly but do the joints which fold need anything. I have done a search but can not find anything. Thanks x

I'm not aware of anything either Gill.
All I've done with ours is put a spot of oil on the hinges and applied gummipflege to the seals.
Be sparing with the oil though - you don't want it making a mess ;)

Thanks Titan, i do use gummiefledge on all seals as ive been dropping my top alot it occured to me that i should be using something on the joints, i will see to it tomorrow :)

How about a safety pin to keep your top up and a dose of glucosamine sulphate for the old joints?

I obviously should have re read the post before pressing the send button :ymblushing: thats a good idea, might just try that, may be able to jump in and out of him instead of creaking in and out of him =)) must buy a safety pin tomorrow :-*
