Sad day mate but the Team just can't afford it without being taken over, too many jobs that could be lost not to mention the demise of the 3rd most successful team in F1 history. Sad but the right thing to do.

Williams has been my team of choice since the mid 80s and their lack of success in recent years has been a shame, but things move on and a new input of cash and vigour is needed. Lets hope the Williams name stays with the team going forward.

It was Frank's train set to play with how he wanted, but I think that his continued presence caused the problems. They weren't prepared to do what was needed. They wanted to go it alone as much as possible. They were/are the best of British, but they are not the best in the world.

I fully understand why Williams did what they did - it's probably all that has kept Frank alive.

I'd like to think that he will sit by a stream with a fishing rod and enjoy the rest of his time, but I fear that won't be the case.

Sad times.
