Engine management light

As per title dose the Z3 1.9 have an engine management light, I’m only asking because I have never noticed one and if it dose have one where on the dash should it come up. I’m surmising it dose not have one as it’s gone through 2 M.O.T test and nothings been said.

As far as I am aware the M44 engine car (as a pre facelift car) was designed under pre-OBD II regulations and doesn't have a "check engine light".
