Is it a difficult swap to exchange a 2.5 5speed ('98 Z3), for an '06 3.0 twin turbo six speed?

Yes it is a difficult swap
- Turbos will not fit into the Z3 without lots of modifications
- you will need to use the 3.0 L DME and loom. The DME may be too new to get an EWS delete done to allow you to start the engine.
- a shorter drive shaft is needed for the 6 speed
