Hey guys,
I'm looking to get a custom exhaust on my 2003 3.0i Z4, (poss quads) and I'm wondering if we have a club deal with any places in south West England? Infinity exhausts in Bristol turned up on my googling.

I'm also considering a widebody kit, can anyone recommend a place or a decent kit they've used? Want to get something similar to sembroshti's on Instagram.

Cheers for now!

I've been tempted by a quad for some time now. Not sure how much you've looked in to it yet, but the easiest way to get the look is to take a feed from the current exhaust side and run it behind the bumper to the other side as the battery box is perfectly sited where the second back box would go. Much bigger job to remove the battery box to run a second back box - it's easy to remove then relocate the battery in the boot, but leaves a big hole in the floor!

There are occasionally Z4M bumpers available on eBay for around £3-400, but not looked recently.

I'm not sure on exhaust places near you, but I've been tempted to get in touch with these guys who have a large library of exhaust work done on their FB page... https://www.facebook.com/powerflowexhaustsslough/ Probably a bit far for you, but should give you an idea of what's available.

As for the wide body kit, the only one I like is the Liberty Walk kit which is horrendously expensive (which looks like Sembroshti has). Most kits I've seen look to be one offs.

Thanks Gaz, really good to read. If I do upgrade exhaust I was going to do it for the sound really, so was considering dual pipe from cats back. I think the quads look nicer but I'd mainly do it for audible rather than visual differences. Good to know there are various options though, and that may well be the way I go, although not too sure if I want a hole in the floor haha.

Liberty walk look cool but my goodness, £9000 for the M4 body kit! Woah. Maybe I should just look at some generic wheel arch flares instead? I've already set my heart on a spoiler and front lip that I want.

Finding the right sound is tricky. Long Life in Basingstoke had three goes at mine to get the sound I wanted, the first was an almost perfect OEM sound. Removing some bits on the second visit, made it a bit more raspy. The final visit effectively removed most of the exhaust ending up with straight pipes and it sounded epic. But with increase in sound also comes the risk of booming at certain rev ranges, and mine got that at around 50 - so was a little frustrating pootling around.

Lee had his back box removed on his coupe, and that is insanely awesome sounding - but it isn't a daily and has better sound proofing having a roof. Not sure I'd cope with it on the roady...
