Plenty of cheap E89's available on Facebook Marketplace but not one of these adverts is genuine.

The two ads for the white one are the same car! I'd go for the one that's £700 cheaper 
(The two red ones also, but that looks like it could be a duplicate listing).
Annoyingly with FB Marketplace, buyers can be equally full of excrement as sellers
But there are no fees, so it can be a worthwhile shopping/selling experience, just stay vigilant

Appreciate, that unlike evil bay, they don't charge but they obviously benefit indirectly with people using there site.
Not only does it provide a false view of the market but I suspect some people will be having their time wasted while others will be losing significant sums of money.
It really is like the 'Wild West' buying on there and should only be considered if you can ride your horse to meet the individual and view the item they are selling - maybe even take your six gun and challenge them to a duel in lieu of payment

So, the white one for £2,400 is the bargain to go for then. 
FB marketplace is awful nowadays. eBay is bad enough, but FB is much worse.
So many amateur scammers trying to get a few quid for nothing. Worth a try for them, as there doesn't seem to be any comeback.

What do you mean by not genuine, and more importantly how can you tell? Two people advertising the same car for different prices is a bit of a giveaway, but apart from that, what else?
They are very easy to spot even if the price seems about right. All you need to do is look at the 'Seller details'. Invariably it will either be blank or they will have ads for loads of different vehicles.
i follow a scam alert page, theres 1000's of scams, from electric bikes to hot rods, the amount of people falling for the scams is truly staggering, the scams are both elaborate and intricate, yet they all share very similar lines, typically cheap car, held elsewhere and cant be viewed, states a money back guarantee blah blah blah
and no one is trying to stop it from happening.....

And, anyone taken in by such crap don't get my sympathy. Just remember that "Anything which appears too good to be true" . . . . . usually is just that.

Personally I don't like to see any genuine person losing there money irrespective of how gullable they may be.
Inversely I have absolutely no time for the fraudsters and con artists hell bent on taking advantage of whoever they can irrespective of their situation.
Traffic I guess i.e. more people visiting their site looking at all the other crap that people post. That's why I restrict my attention to the associated groups I am a member of. I no longer accept friend requests and never post on the wider site only the specialist group's.
