Just over a day remaining on the auction and the car hasn't reached £3,000.

I know the market is flat and its not the ideal time to sell but considering all the work that's been done I thought it would realise more than that.

They are all watching and hoping for a bargain as this is the wrong time of year that it will go cheap. :( However as has been said if 2 or more of the watchers are after it? Who knows.

Circling like vultures - can't blame them though everyone loves a bargain

I think certainly for the moment we have backed the wrong horse if we want to make money on Z3s !

There are loads of them for sale for very little money right now !!

I bought mine a couple of years ago and would probably loose on it now but I bought it to drive and enjoy so I'm not bothered.

Looks like we have a few "semi dabbler dealer/trader" types on this forum so its probably not a great time for them unfortunately

Will the Z3 s time come in the UK as a sought after recognised classic? Who knows ?? Personally I think they are a bit of a bargain right now especially in 6 cylinder format..especially the 2.2s given they are ULEZ compliant

In late 1980s I bought a Triumph TR6 because I couldnt afford an expensive TR7. At the time TR6 values were in the doldrums and plenty being broken for spares, which were readily available from breakers cheaply (wings £30, bonnets £50) and they were not sought after

See any comparisons?

Watch this space (At the same time enjoy your Z3 :) )

Yeah most of them are on here 🤣
Indeed. 139 owners 'gauging the market' to see if their P&J is still worth the £20k they have in their heads. That's gonna be 139 disappointed people.

Ebay is as flat as a fart at the moment.

Z3's aren't worth much because BMW made about 6 billion of them and they're all for sale.

Matthewsons sold a very tidy but not mint 2.8 with 38,000 miles for £870 recently. Rercorded write off in 2006, split rear screen and no MOT but, £870 for a sub 40k 2.8.

Read that and weep.
