As some will know I had my zed painted 3 years ago and within 6 months it looked as dull as dishwater. It's been getting me down as I paid over £2000 for it to be done and I'm in no position to get it done again. @billz came round last Autumn and spend the day with me showing me how to get on. He then left leaving his kit with me to continue when the weather improved. In the meantime the rear bumper painted has completely failed and a dent man came to remove a dent from the boot and popped the paint.
I talked to @Sean d and he offered to paint the boot and bumper for me and at the same time machine the while car to bring the paint back up so i retuned Bills kit to him. It was due to go in 3 weeks ago, a few days before Jues car had some issues wiping out the money i'd saved up to pay Sean.
Last night @MidlifeZ was on to me about things and we got on about the paint. He told me to call around today and he'd have ago at bringing it back to life for me.
The results speak for themselves! I am so pleased with how it's turned out. I never thought I'd see it looking anywhere near this again!! A big thanks to Bill for his initial input nearly 6 months ago and to @MidlifeZ (Simon) for his hard work today, I'm a seriously happy Grumpy! Just look at my face!

I hit the wrong bloody button! I meant to press upload and pressed post instead. It never seems to post well if you try to edit adding pics so by the time I had sorted it you'd beaten me to it!

For the eagle eyed you will notice I started with an orange hex logic pad and Menzerna but then changed to a microfibre pad, this was done because the paint is so thick i decided to use Meguiars microfibre correction compound on a microfibre pad and then their finishing wax, topped off with Obsession wax Phantom.

Thank you for all the nice comments, it has been a very enjoyable afternoon.
