Looks awesome Ant.
How long did it take you ?
It took an hour or so mainly because i altered the way it fitted rather than follow the instructions....
I counter sank the screws that held the base plate down so the screws sat flush with the surface of it.
The daunting bit if you like was to cut the gaiter and the instructions related too glueing it and from what i made out sandwiching the leather between the chromed bezel and the bottom section...
To me being abit anal with things looking right i didn't want a gap between the upper and lower sections , it would be minimal but decided to try do it with a flush fit.
I removed the gaiter from the plastic frame and sat it over the foam support underneath.
Due to the design barry has used the gaiter sits under the chrome bezel so when fitted loose underneath it presses to the underside and it leaves no gap and drove it for 40 odd mile and it doesn't move..
This just removed the cutting and gluing stage and mean't the bezel was flush fitted to its frame.
Time will tell if if will need to be altered but indications show not as the gaiter is fully supported by the foam.
I was going to take pics but as i altered the way i did it rather than follow Barry's instructions to the tee i didn't want to cause any confusion.
I can get pics if needed though
