So recently it has been raining cats and dogs in hong kong. previously the Apilar on both sides were dripping fairly badly so i sealed them up completely with some silicone. That has stopped.

The issue is that i thought the flooding in my car was from the Apilar connection. it wasnt. After they were sealed off, i noticed water on the floor of the passenger side, took it to my mechanic, and had him pull out the seat, approx 2 inches of water and a super soggy foam bottom!!

They have pulled out the drain plugs underneath the seat and its been draining. Question is where is the leak coming from....?? anyone else had this issue?

Hi Timmy,

Does your car sit on a hill or a slope when not being used? There is a inner covering just behind the door card that stops water that enters the door via the window seal, if this is broken/missing or split then water can get in to the car instead of draining out of the bottom drain holes. Unfortunately the only way to check this inner cover is in tack is to remove the door card yourself and have a look.
