Fixing my rocking seats on my Z3

Hi I have owned my Z3 since 2005 and never intend on getting rid of it but I have aproblem. Both seats rock too and trow. I saw an artical on the forum on how to fix this but I can not find it again. can anybody help me to find this. Last time I had the car service they told me it would be cheaper to scrap it. I have no intension of doing this for a fault on the seats. I wait for a reply

If you have a look on YouTube there some good videos showing how it's done. Just search BMW Z3 seat bushes. Oh, and welcome to the forum too from me near Lincoln.

Hi and welcome from me in Scotland .
And agree with Tony reasonably straight forward just watch a couple of videos be easy enough.
Be aware not to commit the cardinal sin of turning the ignition on with the seat unplugged as this will cause an airbag light fault which will need a diagnostic tool to reset it.

Easy but mucky job if they are the original (disintegrated) bushes. Seats are certainly not lightweight either so if you’ve got someone to assist it always helps. Welcome
