Good point Si, I'll change the name of this forum to something more generic so it covers bikes, cars etc... Be more interesting then.

Oh - wrong bikes -- I use a carbon fibre Trek Madone 5200. Weighs about 17.5lbs
Shame I cant lose weight to appreciate its attributes. :mad:)

Same here... :eek:ink

Building up a fixed gear bike over the winter to ride about on next year - maybe even ride the London to Brighton charity ride on it! :)

65 miles, no gears, no brakes... Should be fun!!

On the subject of Madone's:

One of the road bike: Trek Madone 5.9, all carbon with Shimano Duraace carbon laminate wheels. It s a good few years old now, but considering its size (62cm frame) it very light and goes like stink. I think I can get a way with posting a picture of it, as there is still a hint of Z automotive stuff in the background!

I have solid panniers and mountings for the v-rod
Top half chrome and bottom painted silver
I wont be putting them on the bike
Dont want to go the Ebay route
Do you have any suggestions, re selling

Great looking v-rod to be honest e-bay is great with a massive market but if that's not for you try your local dealer they may let you put up an ad or know someone who would be interested also try you local H .O .G Group
