Being as it was so hot today, only a small job this afternoon. A few years ago I bought some "chrome" outer door handle covers off the net. After only being gently polished the nearside door one was showing through to the base. So, I ordered some better quality ones ( 2yr. warranty) chromed stainless steel ones from Germany.
Peeled the old ones last night and cleaned and glue residue from the 3M tape ready for fitting the new ones today.
I have to say I think they look great and certainly feel better than the previous set.

They look smart Tony. Why are you not at Silverstone?
TBH mate saving money for Florida, only a few weeks till we go over. Anyway it was too hot BMG said so.:)
Some really nice photo's don't you think, would be good to drive round the circuit, the kids got a ride round years ago when we were invited to a Make-A-Wish -Foundation day down there after our little girl died of Leukeamia. They were responsible for our love of Florida in a way as they granted Carla's wish to visit Mickey Mouse 20 years ago this year. Hope we can make it to Silverstone one year, have been?

Jesus....sorry to read that mate.........
A long time ago mate, you never forget but your life has to go on especially for Abbie and Gary who at the time were very young themselves. We held a fund raising event on August bank holiday in 1994 where we achieved £6000 and the same the following August after she had passed away and did the same again. Carla would have been a Z person, of that I'm sure. That's her sitting on the Gold Wing sorry about the rubbish photo. Gary, at the front will be 28 just before Christmas, Abbie is expecting our second grandson on my birthday this year, she's 30 now. Me and Ma are older and fatter. Nuff said.

I've got something similar tony.

I had 2 sets for four doors (same as 3 series)

I used the back door ones on the zed, then you cover the key hole!

Looks even better, I'm quite anal about the look.

Mark

The Make-a-Wish-Foundation first came to our attention in 1993 when they held a fund raising event at Gainsborough Trinity football ground. Dave and Thel became our contacts and they were members of the Honda Goldwing owners club. Several of whom attended our fund raising efforts. The young lady, called Sandy, who organised our trip to Disneyworld undertook her first solo "Wish" for our Carla. Our first fund raiser was to repay them so another family could go to the Give Kids The World village in Kissimmee, in fact we achieved enough for 3:).

Re the handle covers - I really like them. Great quality. German.

Cheers, Tony.
