Fuse box issues

Hi all,

I found a blown fuse on my 1997 Z3 1.9 radio (fuse no 9). I tried to replace it, but the tiny clips which secure the fuse in place within the fuse box have gone! So the replacement fuse just wobbles without making any connection. Any ideas on how I go about fixing this?

I've attached a couple of pics showing the issue, and the fuse next to it with the tiny fuse securing clips in place.

Thanks

Warren

If there are no clips in that fuse slot then there never have been. They don't fall out. You need to investigate further.

Thanks Tony. **Now sorted** You saying they can't fall out has made me check again the fuse box/ slots. I must have pulled the fuse out of 9 (in the 1-10 row) and later, having found the correct replacement fuse, returned and was mistakenly trying to put it back into a gap '2' which is a blank on my car. Silly mistake - and i have now replaced the correct fuse no 9.

I thought I was in a world of hurt here, and your direction has put me back on track - thanks again.
