Hi all, just a quick hello from us as my wife has just purchased a 2000 2.0Ltr 5 sp manual z3. Done just over 100,000 km and very well looked after for the last 13 years by the same owner. Purchasing from a dealer and he had the next service done on it. Getting a couple of small things fixed - seats have front and backward movement when braking and accelerating. Sealing of the rear plastic window. There seems to be a cover over the cowling covering the instruments in front of the steering wheel... is this normal.. it seems to be shrinking a bit. the hood has a small pressure wear mark on it...not enough to put a hole in it but could let moisture in. How can i fix this easily? Looking forward to our upcoming summer here in Perth, lovely long evenings with the top down cruising the coast...

Welcome from Tasmania! I moved here from Perth - too hot for me over there! You can buy new seat bushes from @Aceman on this site, the panel over the instruments is called an Ipanel. I just replaced mine as the previous owner broke it! Look me up and you can see the picture I have posted. Others will come along and offer assistance, you have come to the right place and I am glad to see yet another Aussie here.
