What do you mean by blade off. Do you use a squeegee ? I never get streaks on ours all i do is towel dry with micro fibre drying towel

Personally I would not use a blade on paintwork you only need one piece of grit and it will damage your paintwork more noticeable on darker colours of course . I would only use a blade if you own one on Windows.( Not the plastic window )
Why not use Dodo Juice time to dry on your wet panels to lubricate towel drying and leave a streak free paintwork finish.
There are a few other products on the market that do a similar job to Time to dry.
Cheers Cliff.

@Tracy Dee it Doesn't matter whether you use blade or drying towel.. if theres a piece of grit it will scratch your car. l always take care to thoroughly rinse my car before l blade (which is a very soft auto glym one). I have also reviewed Neils Magic Polish on here and lve got to say lm hooked.. my car was covered in dirt and salt marks yesterday and with just a quick rinse with a hose it was off. Literally makes your car non stick. Getting back to this turtle wax streak free wash l live in really hard water area and streaks can be a problem on a black car.. but this stuff solves that!

We use blades on fresh paintwork on a daily basis, we wash cars before the customer collects them and we blade them down afterwards with no ill effects.

As long as it works for you all well and good.
As a car valeter and detailer by profession not the way I was taught.
But as said if it works for you all good.
People often ask the best products to use I can only guide them to the best products I have found by useage over the years.
But as I say if your happy with what your using and it works for you happy days.;)

Cheers Cliff.
