They should look great on your car.

I'm still uncertain about halos, I know a lot of cars have them but having never seen them other than in pics on a z3or4 I just can't make up my mind. There was a post a few days ago where the poster didn't like them and went back to originals and was very pleased with the result. I believe the issue was driving in darkness more or less and not being comfortable with that. JIM

Mine has Halo's and, they are quite dim compared to HIDs and even compared to the halogens on my Landy. Both have +130% ultra bright bulbs. Its the projectors - they are nothing like as good as a standard headlight. If I could get a decent HID upgrade, I'd definitely do it.
Had the same issue on my Audi A4 and Gail's Jag. Just poor when you're used to standard Halos or HIDs.

Thanks @Redline I was considering a set Andy has from his latest breaker as the ones in TOO are shot. Someone tried tinting them apparently and screwed them up. JIM

Jim do the newer lights off a 2006+ not fit as it would be a shame to lose the Hids

Would the later ones be a direct swap Bill? That would make sense to me, if I can find some. Biggest piece of luck would be finding some at a breakers which haven't had a front end prang.

Tony.

Tony i am not sure if they are as the front bumper was upgraded also from 2006 onwards. Would have to have a search and see. Curiosity is stepping in now :p

The only issue I have with units like these are that on the ones I bought for my Z3 had really dim halos on them. Looked great at night, but not that visible during the day - which I guess isn't a huge problem. Just remember the ones on my 5er being visible during the day!

I am thinking of buying these from E Bay, my Z4 has been nearly de tango'd, the only think left to do are the front headlights. Anyone used these, just concerned about the quality.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-E8...937919?hash=item235bf9923f:g:fiEAAOSwI-BWF9MW

Hi I had some of these
They looked great but fogged up real bad then got to the point of it looked like it was raining inside the lamp! ( This was in the colder months was ok on nice days at first tho. So could be alright if you 9nly use car in summer and tucked away in a garage in winter time)
And that was with standard phillips bulbs
If you put hid in those they will be worse
The seller will tell you this!
I also had them professionally fitted so I had no come backs.
Good job I did as this backed my case with amazon (2xcite) is on eBay aswell so same seller but thought safer to go amazon cos they get money back for you if item no good.
