It's the 2nd of January

Some years ago, some ex pat Oil & Gas Directional Drillers (loads of money) had a New Years Eve party over here in a business lounge at Schiphol airport, then flew a private jet to London (+/- 20 min) and did it all over again ....
Oil & Gas motto (was) work hard, play hard, that's all out the window these days.
Most of the Old Old Guard are dead now though, two of my old mates died, one last year, one the year before.
(Cheers lads ....
It was a great time)
I worked in the O&G from 1983 to 2015 (I should write a book ....
)

The Dutch have their own little Hogmanay over here that lasts about a week.
Lunch time drinks at a restaurant, evening drinks in the bars, I knocked it on the head yesterday, I am getting to old for it.
Oh, and
@Shelly, the time over here is now 11:59 hrs
