Hey,

Firstly, thanks for allowing me to join this group. Loving having a look around at all your lovely Zeds.
My name is Ben and my Zed is a Z4 2.5i. (Yet to be officially nick-named)

I am a car enthusiast (obviously) and love working on my Zed. I do all my own servicing (so if anyone ever needs a hand servicing or just tinkering, please let me know). I have loads of tools and code readers etc and am happy to help anyone out. :)

Had my first last minute meet up with @BMBabe yesterday and it was great fun. (https://zroadster.org/threads/last-minute-meet-up-in-aylesbury.6252/)

Hey Ben, a very warm welcome from me!

Car looks awesome from the pictures @BMBabe posted yesterday. Looks to be one of the earlier models from the build date.

Nice to know someone who knows which end of the spanner to hit a bolt with, so we may have to use you for one of our "workshop days". Nothing intensive, just get locals together and talk car gibberish and maybe sort any of those little niggles we've put off! It's all about getting people more comfortable doing those jobs they would ordinarily pay a garage to do. Best thing about the Z3 & Z4 is that most of the work can be done without specialist tools!

Cheers, Gary

Hey Ben and welcome from here near Lincoln. I like those ACS alloys too, are they 18"? This a great forum , nice to hear of someone who does their own repairs also.

Tony.

Hey Gary,

Thanks very much. Yeah workshop days sounds great. I love doing stuff and would love to help others out. I totally believe in doing as much yourself as possible. Looking forward to it :)

Hi Tony :)

Yes they are 18". I just love the look of them and it gives the car a mean look. So far she has only needed an air inlet hose replaced (common issue as its a rubber hose) and I have done my own Oil service and Inspection (sparks, filters etc). So much fun :)
