Hard top wiring

Anyone who has recently fitted their hard top (mine is 98 1.9 pre-facelift).

I have just spent 2 hours with my hands in the radio hole of the console tearing my wrists to shreds!!

I can't find any extra plug/wiring for the rear demister control switch. My VIN tells me I have the S380 Hard Top Kit. (S380 Hardtop-Preparation/fittings), which I presume is the wiring.
Question:- Do I simply disconnect the soft top roof switch and connect to the heating switch instead? or is there another plug I simply haven't found?

You're at the wrong end of the centre console. Access is at the opposite end of the console between the seats

Ahh, I thought the switch went up at the front console under the heater switches... where the soft-top roof switch is.
