Well as it has been so nice this weekend I took the hardtop off yesterday afternoon just for a couple of days.

Forgot what it was like to drive with the roof down after several months of the hardtop been on.

Can't wait for the summer!

Looks a lot better with it off and the roof down :)

i'm seriously thinking about selling the hardtop/fixings
I dont drive the car in the winter months
Car looks fantastic with hardtop on
but i feel its a waste just letting it hang in the garage :(

its personal preference, but imho the hardtop completes the car.

unless you have a new roof and a new rear window they can look shabby.

I totally agree with you
But I have the top off most of the time :)
Even short stays whilst garaged in the summer :coolsteer) :coolsteer) :D
I only thought about selling today

Id still keep it,

they are hard to get hold of, and its a bonus to have one with the car.

I'm the opposite of you Boysie i've been watching various hard tops toying with the idea of buying one but I too think it might spend most of it's time suspended from the garage ceiling. Just can't decide as I much prefer top down motoring and I will put the roof down at every opportunity.

It will be going back on within the next couple of days I think but only for a few more weeks. I love the look of zeds with a hardtop on and like badman says they look worse when they have a tatty roof and rear screen. My rear screen is split and has a fold line across it now but I have a new one ready to fit when we get a nice day to do it.

If it was a one man job changing the hardtop, any day which I would normally have the roof up (only when it rains) I would put the hardtop back on and take it off every time I wanted the roof down. I much prefer it to the cloth roof, but then it wouldn't be that easy when you want to put the roof down at the traffic lights :coolsteer)

Plus with the hardtop the car has a completely different look and the car is used everyday throughout the year.

I'm taking my hardtop off on Friday and putting it into storage at my friends warehouse and looking forward to some top down motoring. It will probably rain now for weeks.
