Does anyone have a set of scrap heated seats from a prefacelift Z3?
I'm only looking for the electrical seat plugs to splice on to a pair of facelift heated seats to plug into my pre facelift loom?

The connectors were made especially for BMW and made by Molex who were not allowed to sell or give out samples under an agreement with BMW ( I know as I was an Electronics Purchasing Manager and tried several of my old suppliers to find me some)
but now you might find an alternative from JST, Samtec or Amp
You would have to buy the housing and the crimps separately .

I will try to find the info on the old Molex numbers which may help.

Thank you both for the responses.
I obviously have the option to use pairs of non-standard 4 pin plugs (which I’ve sourced already) but I really would like to keep it “standard” BMW if I can.
Mazza- are you suggesting the JST etc plugs will be a direct fit to the original Molex?
(The plugs Ive already bought off Ebay looked similar but turned out to be quite a lot smaller in reality🙁. I can use them but it means chopping off the car loom plug as well, which I really want to avoid.

There may be a JST or AMP equivalent ( form, fit and function )but you will need the mating half housing and the 4 male crimps.
I did have a look for the Molex numbers this morning but as yet no success.
If I can find the Molex numbers I will try to find an alternative , and then get part numbers for the mating part.

When I did mine. ( Both the 1.9 and 2.8 ) I bought seat pads which came with all the wiring, so used the 4 way plug and sockets from that to make the connections
