Hello Z3 fans. I drive a 96 Roadster with 150,000 miles driven and many more to come. It is by far the finest engineered car I've ever owned. The only downfall is the lack of power.
I noticed today one of the kidney-shaped vents on the bottom of the hood is missing. Is it okay for me to drive the car with the vent missing? The replacement will take a week to arrive.
Thanks!

Hi and :welcome: to the forum from me too in Stafford, England. There's no problem driving without a kidney grill, you just may get a few more flies on the radiator;)

Hi, and welcome from me too near Lincoln, UK. Unless you're unlucky enough for someone to throw up a rock that goes through the hole in the bonnet (hood) where the grille should be you'll be fine till it gets replaced.

Tony.

Thanks! I bet they would not throw another one. 😊 The part arrives Tuesday. I am still wondering how the other one vanished. An unsolved mystery.
