Don Noveau, here. I just acquired a 1997 z3 2.8 MT, 80,000 miles, green/tan. I took a bit of a gamble on this one by not having a professional inspection, but all of the usual problem areas, like the diff. mount, coolant tank, etc., look ok. Underneath the car, all is dry and straight; the rubber covers on the CV's and steering rack are intact. The numbers match.

I'm just wondering what surprises await, and if anyone could share some stories.

A warm welcome Don!

It sounds a great car, but some pictures when you get a chance would be nice too.

Cheers, Gary
heres a photo of me taking Izzie for her first ride top down. She loved it. (She's wearing her seatbelt harness. ). Well there is that problem of the steering wheel being on the wrong side of the car. I'll deal with it.
