Hi from Canada Just trying to figure out the seat issue in my 1997 Z3 I have read alot in regards to people having the same issue with removing the rear bolts to remove the seats but havent actually found a cure.My electric motors are ok and one track on each seat moves but I cannot get the others to ove manually .I read somewhere that if you can remove the worm gear drive you will expose the head of the worm gear and maybe clamp visegrips onto it and force it to turn.I didnt want to destroy the gear drive until I found a replacement.I still havent found a parts listing describing what it is even called.
