Hi,

As you may have gathered, I am a newbie to the forum so just want to say hello all.

For the last month, I have been the proud owner of a year 2000, W registered Agean blue edition Z3 with 88K on the clock.

So it has not been too bad - there have been and still are a few issues, but at the end of the day the car is 23 years old, so it was asking abit much for things to be perfect.

I have always loved the Z3 so when was allowed to purchase my "mid life crisis car", the Z3 was the natural choice.

So I see, though I fancy with only 35K on the clock @JBeezy's example will be in better condition than mine - It certainly looks it! The blue hood is still present, which mine has lost at some point in the past. It was certainly specified to have one - was this standard on all Agean Blue models?

When searching I found a few Agenans for sale - there was one in Devon, one in Gloucestershire and the one I purchased in Suffolk. So you never know you might be seeing some more yet!

Mine has a blue hood in good condition. The rear window has the "Do not wipe dry" wording so may even be original, or a BMW replacement?

Hi and welcome from me. The car is relatively simple to work on with basic tools but it’s corroded bolts etc that become a pain in the ass. Lots of builds, guides etc all for your leisure, enjoy
