I recently bought a Z3 2001 1.9 M43 and have replaced the motor due to some bad noise.
I love this car, maybe I should have upgraded for more power but I won’t race with the car.

Welcome aboard, nothing wrong with a 1.9 M43, mine is a 1999/2000 year car, prefer it over my Z4 2.5 for the looks but love the engine power in the Z4. To be fair the Z3 performs well enough.
