Hello from Wichita, KS!
I purchased my 2004 3.0i 6M October of 2022 and my husband and I have been enjoying it/refurbishing it a little bit at a time.
I'll be doing valve cover gaskets and VANOS replacement here in the next month or so, weather permitting, then refreshing/upgrading the HID components.
Last year was mostly about getting to know the car and figuring out what pieces needed the most attention. I'm the 7th owner and the car was previously in FL where it seems a previous owner made some choices...
Looking to have the top functional again by the time summer arrives!

Glad to have found another owners group with some excellent resources.

More about me, I suppose:
I'm in my late 30s and have been tinkering with and enjoying cars since about 2003. Always wanted a Z4 as they were just showing as concepts when I reached driving age and when I had the opportunity to to buy one (even if it wasn't perfect) I did not hesitate to hop on a plane to Columbus Ohio and buy this one to then drive 1000 miles back home, I don't recommend doing this, but I would absolutely do it again. LOL

I've also been a professional detailer for some time, but called it quits after 2020. Worked out in my favor I suppose, new job paid quite a bit more and I was able to buy my Z4!

Hi and welcome from Derby,UK. Nice looking motor you have there, we don't see many red E85s over here. Ours are mostly grey or black to match the weather.

I LOVE the sterling grey on the Z4, it does a nice job of highlighting the sculpted curves of the car, but my 'other' car is also sterling grey, so I figured I'd buck the trend and get something with a bit more flash. Talk about an odd couple
