Hi Gary and all at z.roaster.org

my Z is 1999 2.8 with sport interior, cosmos black and beige, just on 80,000 Mls, strut brace and some poly bushing just to tighten things up and relax tram lineing. Owned for last 7 yrs and still as reliable as the day it came off prod/line. Purchased used hardtop in second year, car had fixings from factory. Self serviced with help from mechanic friend last 7yrs,no major repairs apart from clutch,no advisories last 7 MOTs. BMW owners club member for a year but found couldn't make any meets due to work shift pattern. Now retired and thinking I really need to join a group of likewise Z,ers, would have been known as a boy racer back in the 70s, bit wiser now of cause but still appreciate a good motor, some cars owned are, triumph spitfire,Mini Cooper s, Mk1escort rs 2000, BMW 323i E28, escort xr3i, fiesta xr2i plus some very mundane family saloons, have DS3 sport just to give the Z a rest. Still saving some of my pension towards a Aston but it's becoming obvious will never make it in this life. LOL

:welcome: from me too. My pension pot won't extend to an Aston but if you have a Zed you have enough

Welcome from the rocks and tree area of mid northern Canada. Don't be shy, there's no one here to harm you. Don't take anything personally and ask questions as you need answers. Plenty of knowledge and more than a bit of fun. JIM

Thanks Jim, I'm pretty thick skined really, I've noted your good advice. Been to your lovely country back in 1972 when my regiment went training there near Medicine Hat, after a fortnight we were snowed in with the biggest snowdrifts I've ever seen, never forget that trip. Regards Roy. (Rha).

Cheers Rha. The wheels are Zito and were reasonably priced at £440 excluding tyres. The car is lowered 40mm on Eibachs with 20mm spacers which gives the wheels a neat looking fit with the arches.

David.

Jim out there in Canada has a fetish for white cars, think he would know better with all that snow, he would never find it:bashhead:
