Hello all. I'm from Tasmania, in Australia. My name is actually Guy, but my forum name uses my usual online tag, that I use on other websites, and in online games, and etc. I was brought here by Cooper who lives in the same town as me.

I'm a graphic designer, a modern art museum employee and I deliver pizza haha. Yes, in my Z.

I have an M44 Z3 from 1998 in Boston Green. It has a number of things that need doing (its being repaired atm, actually - issue with the rear tow arm (if I got that wrong sorry, I'm new to mechanical things)). I have a CD changer from another 1998 Z3 that I'm going to hopefully have installed soon, and I want to add some oem hoops too; as mine came without. That aside, the only thing I'm really looking at doing atm is maybe changing my lights to halos. Maybe.

My car came with after market wheels (lowered without adjustable suspension! and badly painted) which I like the look of, I've also added a full wood grain shift lever and cup holders to the console.

Also need doing:
Fix boot light because it doesn't turn off (currently disconnected)
Fix fog lights as they don't seem to work.
Look into my auto shifter as I /believe/ the tiptronic doesn't work, it just bumps out of drive into neutral.
Get new speakers, as mine crackle a bit.
Check the seat runners as the seats roll about a bit - should just need some bolts tightened?

So anyway, now you all know a bit about me, and I've written too much. Ciao!

:welcome: - good intro. Seat movement probably due to worn bushes - fairly easy job to do.

Hi Guy, I also have welcomed you previously. Glad to hear Cooper has a running mate now. My 97 is also BG and hopefully will be delivered in about three weeks, finally. I'll let Cooper fill you in as I'm sure some are tired of me whining about not having the car home yet. Good luck and I like double pep extra cheese if you're out this way, JIM

Welcome @FluxMorz sounds like you have a nice little project car there albeit all your problems are minor very easy fixes.

Check out the link in my sig regarding seat bushes which should solve that problem for you.

Hey thanks so much all! Aceman that guide looks awesome! I'll definitely get some use out of that!

Boysie, that's unfortunate about your brother in law, but he was living in a rather nice spot, I'll give him that. I'm a while north of there, past Hobart. Yeah, many people fine Tassie more stomach-able than the main land, at least the ones who don't need hustle and bustle.

I'm sure I'll be filled in at some point oldcarman.

I do have a few pics on here already, in the media section. I'll see if I can post them in here a little later on.
