Hi, Just joined the forum after reading some great information over the last couple of weeks before finally taking the plunge and buying my new baby, a 1999 2.0l Z3 in Topaz Blue. It has a few issues, most of which have been simple fixes so far thanks to you guys on zroadster. This is my first Beemer (unless you count my 2003 Freelander) and first convertible so I am looking forward to some hot summer days with the top off.

Hi Eddie and welcome to the forum from me near Lincoln. My car is a 2000. 2.0 too in Oxford Green. There's always something to do to these great little cars but that's all part of the charm. Any thing you may need to know is right here just shout if you need help. Where are you located and have you any pictures of your car to post before they send the boys round. We all like pictures.lol

Thank you for your welcome. I'm just down the road from you at Farndon nr Newark. I got the car from a work colleague who lives at Branston, so you may have seen it around Lincoln. You may find it in the car park at Millfield golf club next week while I am giving the previous owner a thrashing! I haven't had the chance to take some pics yet but here is one that he sent me.
