Help: Headlight removal on Z4 / 2005

Hi, has anyone any tips on how easy or not it is to take out headlight assembly on Z4 ( year 2005) ?

Reason is to polish up with a 3M kit like this:

Also should make bulb upgrade easier , especially the passenger near side ( UK , side with washer bottle on) .

Front bumper off to get access to all the bolts on the light units. Not the worst to remove the bumper, just lots of screws and bolts holding it in place.

You may find it easier to mask the bumper and wings off and polish with them in place.

The same with the rear bumper. Only just trim really, the rear one comes off in a few minutes with the same type of fasteners.
