Hi, I'm the proud owner of a 2.8 Z3 fatboy roadster which I bought just under a year ago from a local garage on the Isle of Wight. She has low milage (34788) and appears to have been well cared for. However after a little outing, on my return I gave her a dusting off and managed to break the zip on the rear screen. Does anyone know a good repairer?

Hi, I bought my Z3 on the Isle of Wight about 8 years ago. The rear screen had split but it came with a new zip-in screen. Some people have problems with these but I found swapping in the new one to be straightforward.
I don't think that hood repairers like the zipped screens. Most seem to only offer welded-in ones.

Hi, thank you for your post. The actual zip has come apart and the starting point ( not sure of the correct name ) is frayed preventing me from rejoining. It looks as though I will have to have a new zip fitted. Trying to find the best place to take it.
I take it you mean the zip part attached to the soft top?
Some pictures would clear up any confusion?
