I am trying to remove my carpets because they are soaked. Spent yesterday afternoon on it and today I've removed the rear half of the carpet. I've stripped out all the plastic panels from under dashboard and side panels where speakers are and numerous other bits but I can not see how to get the accelerator peddle off the floor. I need to do this or I can't slide carpet back to remove it. Any one any ideas how it's fixed please.
Roger.
Ps scrap that question I've found it I looked on YouTube but thanks any way.

What of my Duck pond lol. It's a job I'm beginning to wish I'd not taken on. Good thing is because of all the stuff on this site I've been checking the various places for leaks and found them all and some extra ones. Now all I have to do is work out how to get the water out of carpet. The car is simple I could of coarse do what they did on top gear and shoot a hole through the bottom of car simple's
Will see what I can do with pictures.

I decided to cut my carpets neatly so that I can lift up and check at anytime if there is a leak, had enough of taking the interior out completely. Also made fitting it in the airing cupboard easier to dry. Takes a while..

Well I've decided to cut up around the heater matrix because that is going to be a nightmare to get out. But yes good idea. So how did you cut your carpet then to enable you to get them out.
