:arghh: recently made a hard decision, which car do I sell?....the Porsche 928 or the Z3 Roadster....Well you can guess the answer cos I'm here on the Z3 site!

I have had the Z3 for a few years now, it's a joy to drive and easy to work on. It's economical to run (not like the Porsche!) and sticks to the road like glue. Somehow it seems classier than those Miata's.

When I took delivery it had bad "seat rock" but thanks to the Bimmer forum I ordered bushes and fixed the darned thing. It has to be the easiest car to do an oil change on too! Had a bit of a flat spot so I changed the plugs and fixed that too. The boot leaked as usual, removed the stop light and applied a bit of silicon - fixed that too. It was slow to warm up so replaced the thermostat and housing, fixed that too.

Things I want to tackle in future are:

Upgrade speakers
Fit wind baffle
sort out aircon
stop scuttle shake

Should keep me busy for a day or two?

Welcome Tony!

Personally think you made the right choice between the two ;) best thing about the Z3 is that they are easy enough to work on.

Some piccies of your car would be nice :)
