This may be the forum I have been seeking, not found many other Z car owners that are car freaks (OKC), just drivers who take all problems to a shop for repair.
First BMW, but wanted one since watching David Hobbs in 1979 IMSA race at Hallett Racetrack near Tulsa, OK. I have a 2000 2.8 Z3 Roadster, Dakar Gelb Il paint, black interior, sport seats/wheels from factory.owned since 9/13, now 97,000 miles, am planning on doing most maintenance/ upgrades myself, and driving the car to it's death, long may it live.

Looking around, I see this is an international forum. So many different engine choices in UK/EU. I will have to watch for engine specific and LHD/RHD advice, and make sure prices for things are converted to $.

Maybe this is the reason that this forum makes the Zed so international!
I always said: made by the Germans in an American factory, with Italian design made by a Japanese and committed to run across the globe, keeping owners together: Zed.
