Hello from Eagle Creek, Orygun! I'm on a small 5 acre ranch just a few miles from a great little town called Estacada...where the infamous Spotted Owl resides.
I'm retired and busier now than when I was working a full time job. Wanted a fun car again. Had a Porsche 914 for quite a long time but got tired of having to do a repair every week so I sold it for a supercharged Miata. THAT was a fun car, especially to auto cross. Buying the ranch gave need for a tractor and the Miata had to go. It was an OK trade... Miata for a Kubota.
Turning 65 I told mysel I needed another fun car and tried a JCW Mini Cooper S. 210 Hp in a roller skate! Fun car for a year but not me. Found this 2001 3.0 green Roadster with only 72,000 miles. So much power. Beautiful lines and a blast to drive on the twisties.
Love it's "big butt" curvy fenders. I want to add fog lights, stiffen the suspension and a few other mods. Will take it to PIR and auto cross it a few times to find its limits. Gotta be safe ya know.
Thanks for having a fun forum....

Thanks Tony. I have to look up the color again. Last I looked it was in German. This green has bluish metal flake throughout and changes color from green to blue/green. I smile every time a corner presents itself!

Hi @Eagle Creek from Manitoba, Canada! Love the look on the front end. Your paint colour and code should be on a label on the drivers side inner fender well. Enjoy the forum, JIM

Hey, thanks all for the warm welcome. Yes the color is Oxford Gruen metallic with Oregon Leder Beige interior. I found the sport seats to aggravate my lower back so I went onto the Bimmer forums and found I'm not the only back sufferer out there. Did the easy DIY raise the front of the seat fix and voila, my back doesn't hurt and it's way more comfortable
This is really cool having all the international replies. What a family!!!

I lived in Sherwood... Oregon ! Worked for the city for 9 years maintaining its underground services. Each year they put on a Robin Hood Festival. Complete with an archery contest.
