Hey all, need a bit of advice here. Found a pair of E36 lowering springs on FB marketplace and would be down to pick them up if I knew that they fit my Z3M. The seller claims they're H&R springs and are coming off an E36 M3 and that they should fit my Z3M, but I want to be sure before making the purchase. I did a bit of research myself and didnt' find grey lowering springs that fit a Z3M but maybe this is an older model?

1. Can someone help confirm if these do/don't fit my Z3M?
2. How do I even confirm these are H&R springs?

Thanks in advance!

The photo does not come through completely. All I see is the top of the picture, its dirty concrete.

In general terms:
  • Z3 front suspension is E36
  • Z3 rear suspension is E30
  • So, the E36 M3 springs will fit the front but not the rear.
Springs are designed for each specific vehicle due to difference is weight and required spring rates. While the E36 M3 springs will fit the front of your Z3M, their performance is unknown.

Trying this again...hopefully works this time. but i've asked other sources as well and seems like NZ00Z3 is right, it won't fit (thanks for responding in both forums btw!)

I was told the trailer arms and spring rates would be different so therefore incompatible.

Thanks!
