I need to photograph the Z3M engine number

Hello friends,
I am a newbye member, and a very gald one for having just purchased a Z3M, year 2000,
I live in Northrn Italy and I wish to apply to offer my car the title of "Vehicle of historical interest"
One of the details I must provide is a picture showing of the 3.2 liters engine number.
Not knowing where such number is situated, may I please be helped with information or better, if possible, a picture showing its locatiom.

Hello.
others may correct me, but I think that you will need a borescope for this.
The engine number is located at the back of the intake side at about two hand palms further from the stamped BMW logo.
Quite impossible to see it from the top, but can be seen with a micro camera and a flexible hose.
Your local Centro Revisioni can surely help you with this they are obliged to check it at the inspection
