The M has ITBs and it makes a difference, but you are still constrained by a single MAF, and an ECU that doesn't control individual cylinders.

The main advantage of the ITBs will be the ability to tune the "trumpets".

I wouldn't spend $1600 without making sure that is the best bang for my bucks.

I'm doing some very serious research into how to improve my M and I'm finding weaknesses in many areas. The difficulty is working out where to spend the least to gain the most.
