Hi from UK
I have a E89 66 plate with 18" wheels. The tyres are original Run flats with dates 2015-2017. They are coming up for a change this year as average now 8 yrs old. (still got bags of life in them).
I am going to replace all 4 with non run flats as the consensus is that is the best so my teeth dont fall out every time I go over a cats eye:eek:
The question is is with what? I want to have a RP (rim protector). I have seen the Goodyear Asymmetric 5 may fit the bill. Can anyone tell me if these do have a RP?
Or what other makes that have these RP?
I have found a website called Tyre shopper, has anyone used them? Price for 4 Tyre's fitted on this website is £547. Do you think this is a good price?
Thanks for reading.

Yes the F1assy5 has a decent rim protector

They have been my favourite tyre for the last ten years or so, I think this set was around the price you mention Nov 22 and after 14,000 miles still wearing well, another 14k still in them I reckon.
Always a matter of budget and personal choice.

Thank you for the photo to confirm. I will be changing to these in a few weeks.
