Long time BMW fanatic, I regularly drive a 3 series. Found my 2002 2.5 Roadster sitting unused in a friend's barn in 2010. Revived and working nicely, it is my weekend car in better weather here in the northeast. At a little over 60k miles, it is now cared for, and I have been slowly fixing all the fun problems: subwoofer, wobbly seats, scratched rear window, clanging emergency brake line. You all know the details! I still have to address a couple of dings in the front spoiler and a small dent behind the driver's door: maybe this summer or maybe I'll add a front strut brace. I enjoy thinking about what to do next as much as actually doing it. I have a picture of the car as the avatar. Looking forward to exploring the site.

Hi and welcome from near Lincoln UK. I've only ever seen one white Z in the flesh and that was in Kissimmee Florida last year. Great cars, enjoy.:)

By far, this is the friendliest forum I have joined! Thank you for the welcome. I admire the great variety of paint colors on your cars. I always manage to get either a black or a white car; I currently have one of each. I will work on better pictures. The avatar was created from my phone camera, in the rain, as I was registering with the forum. I am enjoying the many threads and studying to make sure that I don't ask a question that has been answered many, many times. That is a good way to wear out a welcome quickly.

Feel free to ask whether it has been asked a 100 times or just the once. Someone will always point you to the thread that is relevant. I know that no one who has joined has worn out a welcome by asking questions that have already been answered.

You will never get that response on this forum guaranteed, unlike the other one I joined where it used to happen regularly. After all who will join a forum and start by reading all the posts back to the beginning of time? Ask away!:)

Tony.
