Mmmm, see below. Respected Pilot interviewed yesterday:
In a separate film posted just yesterday, Andersson is interviewed on camera. The strangely relaxed and smiling stunt pilot says: "I suddenly lost control and tried to figure out what had happened, and I quickly realised the right wing was gone. I was desperately trying to control it as I lost 900 feet, but I was coming down too fast. "It was a bad angle, and I thought 'It's all over now'. But I managed to land. It was in God's hands."

I honestly think that the weight of this guy's massive attributes compensated for the extra lift provided by the only wing left.
It's certainly plausible and doable so I would say yes.

Guys, this is actually an old video and it was faked. You can search on youtube and see the guys that made it. What gives it away is the bounce on the landing, that was the weak point of it, otherwise brilliant

This one may have been a fake but there was an incident where one of the retaining bolts sheared and the wing folded and the pilot Neil Williams survived by rolling the aircraft upside down and then flipping it at the last minute.
