]After reading on here that quite a few use snow foam and pressure washers I paid a visit to Shop N Shine at Derby last week and came out the place £100 lighter than when I went in .
Bought a snow foam Lance, snow foam,3 d.a pads and two Menzerna compounds.
So tonight I gave the snow foam a go having never user it before thinking it was a waste of time and i was never keen on using a pressure washer on a car BUT I have to say it does make quite a difference and it smells lovely too :)......might even use it as my shower gel .

Didn't have time to take pics of the snow foam on the car in action as it was starting to get dark .
Also got a 10 meter hose for the Karcher as well £22 from eBay,made it so much easier not having to keep moving the machine around the car.
Here's a pic of the polishing stuff which I haven't used as yet

And to think I just used to use a bucket and sponge till last year.
Would just like to add the lads at Shop n Shine are most helpful and thanks to @MidlifeZ Simon for his recent help and advice :).

I just managed to wash my Zed before it got to dark tonight with a bucket of water ready for a cruise with @NODZED.
As I was washing the car I'd thought about snow foam and wondered how good it was.
Is it only applied with a power washer ?

You can get adaptors to use with a hose pipe mate,I saw a Demon foam kit in Tesco. You get a bottle of snow foam and the lance that fits to a hose lock.

I'll have a look in Tesco's
I have a power washer but it's a pain to to set up as well as the hose so I just use a hose

I can't fault snow foam i tried the demon version on the hose pipe and i was less than impressed to start with but i brought the same snow foam bottle as you have pictured and it works great.
I brought snow foam on ebay 10 litres cherry and orange £17 delivered and it works well you don't need much to get a good foam so goes a long way.

Its designed to soften and lift the dirt Andy so its a bit kinda to paint than a sponge.
Its referred to as a pre wash so gets the dirt lifted before you use a sponge and possibly scratch it..

Then a rinse off followed by a regular wash with car shampoo and lambs wool wash mit, rinse off again and dry off with a large drying cloth rather than a chammy leather.......had a busy afternoon.

With a break in the rain ( Well nearly ) and a dry run cruise taking place tomorrow I thought best get the Zed washed.

Having read Steve's thoughts on snow foam I purchased a bottle a week ago and today was my first use of this product.

I used it with a hose pipe and thought it covered the car well and was pleasantly please. Easier to use than a bucket of water

Another snow foam convert .
You can get a hose lock connector for the foam lance @Low Rider, then you have a better choice of foams to use. Not particularly cheap but a little go's a long way as it's highly concentrated.
I washed the zed without snow foam when we got home from Lotherton last Sunday and i must say the finish wasn't as good and had water marks left on the paintwork, didn't seem to do that with the snow foam process.
