Hi, just got myself a summer toy - a Z3 1.9 in Arctic Silver.

Have already done a few things to her and plan quite a few more, so sure I'll be regularly updating bits on here.

Might try to come along to ZedFest in Leicester in August.

Pics in the thread below.

Hi and welcome from Surrey. They don't have to be just a summer toy, they are fun all year round. :welcome:

I have the X5 for the rest of the year ;)

Plan to put the Zed in storage over winter as have loads of grit and salt around here.

Currently in the process of sorting out the underside of the car (painting, sealing, etc.)

Then plan to get the wheels powder coated at the end of summer.

When I first got her. With factory AC Schnitzer bodykit and exhaust.

Installed an E36 M3 tri-colour steering wheel. I customised the side tabs in red leather.

Installed hoops / roll bars

Put on my AC Schnitzer type 2 non-racing 18" wheels (8.5j) - 225/40/18 front, 255/35/18 rear
Upgraded the front calipers to ones from a Z3 3.0ltr, painted them red
Upgraded the discs and pads all round

What she looks like now - outside

What she looks like now - inside

What she looks like from behind with the bodykit and AC Schnitzer exhaust

On holiday down in Cornwall a couple of weeks ago.

I've also just retrofitted a power hood, just getting the hydraulic pump brackets welded in tomorrow and it will look like a factory install

Next thing to look at is sorting the awful speakers out :nailbiting:
