Whilst looking at my friend's Porche toolkit I noticed a little threaded bar and asked him what it was for and it turned out to be a Alloy wheel Alignment tool which Porche no longer supply since about 2006/7.
So I thought what a good idea for me having to struggle to put my wheels on/ off, internet to the rescue and arrived very quickly. Don't know if BMW ever supplied one but wouldn't pay their price anyway. May have paid over the top but it's worth it not to get the wheel between my legs to hold it up,while finding the hole.(lol)
Can't think why I've never tried to find something to replace my long screwdriver/locator.
Here's a pic of said tool, you could probably make one up yourself.
(Probably teaching granny to suck eggs. @t-tony )
Now to find a place in the Zs toolkit, which will make it even better, IMO.
RHA,Roy.
